Many of our members, new and veteran exercisers alike are working with personal trainers because personal training is one of the most effective and time-efficient ways to get and stay in shape.
Personal training is not “one size fits all”. We understand that not every member can or wants to work out with a trainer three times a week, month after month. That’s why we offer a menu of customized training options, including one-on-one, semi-private, or small group training.
Maybe your workout needs updating—a single session with a trainer can revitalize your workout. If you have gained weight and gotten out of shape during the holidays - a 6-week program with a trainer can help you lose some weight and get back on track. Your personal trainer will;
• Help you identify your goals
• Design a customized workout plan to reach your goals
• Teach you how to exercise to get results
• Provide on-going motivation and support.
Each new Taos Spa & Tennis Club member receives a complimentary one hour orientation session with a personal trainer. We also offer new members the option of purchasing an extended orientation package of 3 additional sessions at a discounted rate of $99 (regular price $144). This option is available during the first 30 days of membership.
Personal Training Options
After you’ve completed your orientation, the choice is yours as you continue with your fitness program: work with a certified personal trainer, work out in group fitness classes and/or continue your training program on your own. We understand that every member has different needs, goals, and budgets.
One-on-One Training
Many individuals prefer the traditional concept of one-on-one supervised training. After consulting with your trainer, he/she will create a customized, goal-oriented workout program that meets your needs and objectives. This type of training is a smart choice if you have a history of injuries or a busy schedule that have prevented you from reaching your fitness goals.
Semi-Private or “Buddy” Training
Some members prefer to train with a partner or friend, but also want the personalized attention and supervision that comes with personal training. “Buddy” training is the perfect option!
Small Group Training
These small groups consist of 4 individuals with a common goal and similar fitness levels. You train together two to three times a week. If you enjoy the camaraderie and peer support of a group, this is a smart choice. This option is the most affordable training option coached by a personal trainer.
Fees
All fees quoted are per person, per session. Multiple sessions are purchased as a block at the time the first session is scheduled. The fees for all participants in buddy training and small group training must be paid at the time the first session is scheduled.
